WRIGHTSVILLE, Ga.— Plotmaster Systems, Ltd, the leaders in food plot and land management equipment has recently introduced a new Hunter line of PLOTMASTERs for 2008. In a patented design created by Blaine Burley, the President of Plotmaster Systems, Ltd., the PLOTMASTER which can be pulled by either a tractor or ATV has the unique ability to both cultivate and plant seeds at the same time. It’s all-in-one design allows you to disc, plow, plant, cover, and/or cultipack all at the same time. This one-pass planting process saves an enormous amount of time, money, and effort.
The PLOTMASTER is the perfect wildlife management tool for today’s sportsmen and land managers who want to plant food plots and manage their recreational properties effectively. Because of its compact design, it is ideal for planting food plots in a variety of settings, including rough hard-to-get-to places such as firebreaks, utility right-of-ways, and small forest openings. Its compact design also allows you to reach remote, isolated areas without damaging trees and/or your equipment.
Plotmaster Systems, Ltd. has added many new, innovative features to the new, improved PLOTMASTER Hunter Series. For example, each of these new units is equipped with PLOTMASTER’s new, patent-pending VERSA-SEEDER system. This new reverse auger-brush seeder system will plant virtually any type of seed with ease including grass seeds and hard-to-plant seed blends. Therefore, these units are perfect for small/hobby farming, landscaping as well as planting food plots and garden plots. Each of these new PLOTMASTERs is equipped with a dual set of heavy-duty offset disks. This will allow its users to cultivate and plant in virgin, rugged areas with heavy vegetation. For added down pressure and better performance, each of these units is equipped with a unique down-pressure system so that additional weight/down-pressure can be transferred to the unit for increased tillage if needed. Like the original PLOTMASTER, each of these units comes equipped with both a drag with metal grating and a cultipacker to allow its users to cover and/or plant both large/small seeds effectively.
The PLOTMASTERHunter Series is designed to be used with small tractors, ATVs and Utility ATVs. The Hunter 300 ATV Model (one-point hitch with electric lift system) is a smaller 3-foot version of the original PLOTMASTER. It weighs 528 pounds. The Hunter 300 ATV Model is designed to be pulled by small ATVs or Utility Vehicles (300 cc or larger). The Hunter 400 ATV Model (one-point hitch with electric lift system) is a 4-foot version of the original PLOTMASTER. It weighs over 700 pounds. The Hunter 400 ATV Model is designed to be pulled by larger ATVs and Utility Vehicles (500 cc or larger). Plotmaster Systems also offers a Hunter 300 & 400 Tractor Models (3-point hitch only for 18 to 40 hp tractors) as well.
“The appeal of the new PLOTMASTER Hunter Series will be their versatility, durability, and affordability,” shares Blaine Burley. “They’re versatile in that they will perform several functions at once, saving time, energy and money for today’s land managers. These units are definitely the some of the most durable pieces of equipment we’ve ever offered. These units are also extremely economical. Most sportsmen and land managers have limited resources and can’t afford large tractors and/or expensive pieces of larger equipment. They also have a hard time using this larger equipment in tight areas where most wildlife food plots are planted,” observed Burley. “Also, many land managers who use individual pieces of equipment often become incredibly frustrated at having to transport and change out multiple pieces of equipment in the field to complete the planting process. In most cases, the fuel savings alone will pay for these units over several years of use.”
