WRIGHTSVILLE, Ga. — Plotmaster Systems, Ltd, the world leaders in the design and manufacturing of planting/land management equipment have recently partnered with John Deere and Frontier Equipment to manufacture a new heavy-duty line of PLOTMASTERs™ for their North American distribution for 2008.

The PLOTMASTER™ and its family of planting/tillage products, often referred to as “The Ultimate Plot Planting Machines,” are designed specially for planting food plots, garden plots, and managing recreational properties. With its patented design, the PLOTMASTER™ which can be pulled by either a tractor, ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle), and/or Utility Vehicle has the unique ability to cultivate and plant seeds at the same time. It’s all-in-one design allows you to disc, plow, plant, cover, and/or cultipack all at the same time. This one-pass planting process saves an enormous amount of time, money, and effort.
The PLOTMASTER ™ is the perfect management tool for today’s sportsmen, ranchers, landscapers, small/hobby farmers and land managers who want to plant plots and manage their recreational properties effectively. Because of its compact design, it is ideal for planting wildlife food plots in a variety of settings, including rough hard-to-get-to places such as firebreaks, utility right-of-ways, and small forest openings. Its compact design also allows you to reach remote, isolated areas without damaging trees and/or your equipment. The PLOTMASTER™ is also great for maintaining roadways and planting grasses/wild flowers along highways and interstates.
Plotmaster Systems, Ltd. has added many innovative features to the new, improved Frontier FP12 Series of PLOTMASTERs ™. For example, each of these new units is equipped with PLOTMASTER’s new patent-pending VERSA-SEEDER ™ system. This new reverse-auger brush seeder system will plant virtually any type of seed with ease including grass seeds and hard-to-plant seed blends. Therefore, these new units are perfect for a wide variety of planting/seeding applications including small farming, gardening, landscaping, over-seeding pastures, and planting native warm-season grasses.
Each of these new PLOTMASTERs ™ are equipped with a set of heavy-duty disks and has multiple plow attachments that include a sweep plow, chisel plow, and turning plow. This will allow its users to cultivate and plant in a wide variety of soil types and planting conditions with ease. Like the original PLOTMASTER™, each of these units comes equipped with both a drag with flexible metal grating and a cultipacker to allow its users to cover and/or plant both large/small seeds effectively.
The PLOTMASTER™ Frontier FP12 Series is designed to be used with a wide variety of tractors, ATVs and Utility Vehicles. These versatile machines are available in 4-foot, 6-foot, and 8-foot models to work with 20 to 100-horsepower tractors and Utility Vehicles (500cc or larger). The 4-foot model can be attached to small and mid-sized tractors (30-50 hp) with a 3-point (category 1) hitch or an ATV/utility vehicle (500 cc or larger) with the available one-point electric lift conversion kit. The popular 6-foot tractor (45-75 hp) model with its Category 1 or Category 2 (3-point hitch) has eight 18” notched-disk and two sets of S-Tines for increased tillage. Lastly, you can cover ground in a hurry with the larger 8-foot model with its wider tillage/seeding swath. This large 8-foot tractor (60-100 hp) model with its Category 1 or Category 2 (3-point hitch) has twelve 18” notched-disk and two sets of S-Tines for maximum tillage.
